VISITORS | 'I LOVE LAREN'
Laren is a special village with an extensive range of shops, art and culture, Singer Laren, the Brink and delicious restaurants. The village offers a lot for visitors. Laren is known for its stately basilica, the special shops, scenic history and beautiful nature.
At this unique outdoor fair for modern art you will find renowned galleries from the Netherlands and abroad. They offer visitors a wide variety of modern and contemporary art for every 'fair'.
Painting competition
On the 15th of June there is a special happening (the weekend of Art Laren 14-16 June) on the Brink. Then the Laren herd comes together with shepherd Rozenn le Buhan and mayor Nanning Mol to the village center. At 10:45 the herd of Singer Laren leaves via the Naarderstraat towards the Brink. You can also be inspired by the picturesque tableau with the sheep around the Coeswaerde opposite the Fur Horse on canvas or drawing paper (for young and old!) Between 11:00 and 13.00 you have the opportunity to do so. Later in the afternoon your work in the Brinkhuis will be judged by a jury after which the winner will be announced the week in the Larens Journal.
